Behind the Lens...
My name is Lindsey. I am a daughter, mother, sister, friend.
An artist, writer, dreamer, believer.
I find beauty in the simple things in life.
As a girl, my Nan Nan told me that one day I would find my 'bluebird of happiness'.
Little did I know, my bluebird was waiting for me on the other side of the camera lens.
Growing up, I moved between the east and west coasts, calling the states of New Jersey, Wyoming,
Washington, South Carolina and Idaho home. My husband and I met shortly after high school.
16 years later and we are happy to call Hayden, ID our home for us and our children.
I come from a family blessed with the wealth of creativity and an appreciation for the arts
and started to pursue my own artistic ambitions at a very young age.
Though it was not until I became a mother, that I truly found my love for the art of photography.
I have been so blessed to be a stay at home mom from the time my first born was 3 months old, back in 2005.
My husband, a real estate agent, works incredibly hard -- sometimes around the clock-- to provide for our family.
We now have four kiddos who are 11, 10, 8 and (a very busy) 3, making our hearts full and family complete! :)
Over the last six+ years, I have been laying the stepping stones to my path as a photographer.
Eventually I would like for it to turn into a full time profession, but for now my focus is on my family
and regaining my health as I battle Lyme Disease and learn the balance of living with MTHFR.
That being said, I absolutely cherish each and every moment that I am given with my clients
and plan to continue working whenever my mind, body and time permit me to do so.
Documenting other people's "happy" is a beautiful gift from God that truly lifts up and strengthens my spirit.
