Who, What, Why, Where & When...

I am a natural light, artistic photographer for Hayden, ID and surrounding areas.  My studio is wherever my feet take me and my lighting comes strictly from the sunshine smiling down on us.  I prefer outdoors over indoors, unless there is some seriously amazing natural light coming into a room.  The two exceptions I will make when indoor photography is needed are for birthing and newborn/life style sessions (birthing I will use flash - IF NEEDED, newborn/life style I still need lots of natural light). 
 
I started my photography company in the fall of 2010, building up my portfolio and finding my niche.  I absolutely LOVE lifestyle photography.  I specialize in Children's Portraits and have dipped my toes into the Birthing Photography field, which is where I find my true calling to be - some day.  I also offer maternity, newborn, baby, family and senior sessions, along with the following event photography: reunions, birthdays, anniversaries, fundraisers and weddings.

When choosing a photographer, it is very important to find the right fit.  My photography is my art.  I take an image, treating it like a canvas and use my vision and tools to make it into something that stands behind my style and branding.  I urge you to browse through my portfolio before contacting me, to see if my visions match up with your own. 

For the Time being, my photography schedule is part time.  My full time job, being a homemaker and mom of 4 little ones.  Aside from the time your session is scheduled for, most of my work is done in the wee hours of the night.  To put a number on it, approximately 75% of your session is done behind the scenes with just me and my computer.  Typically communication is done via email, facebook and text messaging.
